Educational Success provides a structured educational environment and support services which meet the needs of a unique population of students. Programs offered by Educational Success provide an individualized approach to learning through proven methods of instruction. The program is specifically designed to address the needs of students whose other activities require a more flexible schooling schedule, to offer assistance to students with learning disabilities who need a customized approach to education, and to provide gifted students with accelerated or enhanced learning opportunities.

Our Instructor/Evaluator

    Lorilynn is an educational therapist and the owner and operator of Educational Success.She has been a teacher, administrator, and tutor for over 25 years.   She has special expertise with gifted learners as well as students with learning disabilities. She earned both of her degrees from the University of Michigan and has taught in a variety of schools, both public and private, across the country.   She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology and has been certified to teach by several states.

   In addition to teaching, Lorilynn is an accomplished writer. She has authored three books for teachers: The Writer's Express, Manners That Matter, and Super-Sub.   She has also had a number of poems and articles published. Her most recent article, a feature about one of our partners, Shadowbrook Stables, appears in the 2006 July/August edition of Equestrian, "the official magazine of American equestrian sports." Beyond literary pursuits, she is a skilled singer/songwriter and has recorded several original songs, composing the music as well.

    Lorilynn's interest in horses, coupled with her expertise in education, helped inspire Educational Success.   She continues to ride and show her own horses on the Southern California Hunter/Jumper Circuit, while also teaching many students who compete in a variety of equine disciplines.
